About Liz
My name is Liz Mesler. Art and photography have been my passion from an early age. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University at Buffalo with a Major in photography in 2006. I started my business, Photography by Liz, in 2007. I became a member of the Buffalo Bridal Association in 2009.
I currently live in Cheektowaga, NY with my wonderful husband. I work full time at a professional photo lab, David Photo Service, Inc, where I am their printer, retouch and restoration specialist, and graphic artist (among other things). I love what I do there, but am working toward building my business, so I can do my photography full time.
I am newly married and know what brides today are looking for in terms of style, quality, and price. I can give you all three without breaking your budget! My degree in fine art photography shows in my work. My photographic style is a beautiful mix of photojournalism, fine art, and traditional. I focus on capturing real moments and real emotion rather than the stale traditional posed shots. Portraits are a true passion of mine. I love capturing genuine emotion, priceless moments, and people just as they are. It is my goal to bring out your personality in your images. For me, photography is capturing memories, moments in time, so you can hold onto and treasure them a little longer. As we all know, children grow up too fast and families can change and grow quickly, so we need to capture every moment along the way.
