Photography by Liz specializes in Portrait and Wedding Photography in the Buffalo and Rochester New York areas.

Weddings are full day coverage with an unlimited number of shots. I will capture your big day from beginning to end with attention to the fine details. All of your images will be refined and enhanced through retouching, selective coloring, black & white, or sepia coloring. These effects are all done at my discretion and all included at no additional cost. You can request up to 5 images for custom retouching. (Such as if you want a background object removed, or a specific picture to have selective coloring.)

 All packages include online event hosting and proofing, a free web resolution disc of images proofed for Facebook or Myspace, and images in a digital proof book to show off to friends and family. (It's a whole lot easier to show them than a disc on your computer - believe me! I've tried it!) Albums are custom designed to tell the story of your day.

Unfortunately, I do not work Sunday weddings.  Sunday is the one day of the week that I have reserved for my family and for religious reasons. If you have a Sunday wedding please feel free to contact me and I will recommend you to several other great photographers.

The Fun Stuff:

Weddings are a passion of mine. I guess I am a helpless romantic, but it is such an honor to document one of the most important days in a couple's life together!  The thrill and joy that surrounds the day is energizing. 

It is my goal to capture the intimate moments throughout the day that go unnoticed. I am all about details, details, details!  I love to take detail shots of all your accessories, favors, center pieces, cake, etc.  I know that after all the time it took to pick all those things out, you may not even get a chance to appreciate them on your wedding day, but you will have your pictures to look back to and enjoy.

My degree in fine art photography shows in my work. My photographic style is a beautiful mix of photojournalism, fine art, and traditional.  I focus on capturing real moments and real emotion rather than the traditional posed shots with no emotion.  For me, the best part of wedding photography is about providing a moment for brides and grooms to soak in the moment and enjoy the realization that they are finally married!  Then I simply enjoy capturing the real love and excitement between husband and wife!

I have a word of advice, make sure that when you pick your photographer, you pick someone you will enjoy spending the entire day with! Because trust me, your photographer will be there practically every minute of your day. If you book with me, I will not be in your face or pestering. After every wedding I always find that I have made some wonderful new friends. I am truly excited for your upcoming wedding and can't wait to capture your day for you!
